Little miracles: How your favourite tech went from massive to microscopic

If we understand for sure that there’s one thing, it’s that things get smaller over time. Whether it’s your favorite chocolate bar, the hands of the US president, or the technology you’re using every day, it’s likely to be much lower than it used to be.

When it comes to digital technology, this is especially true. Analog devices necessarily used gigantic parts: believe of ancient TV cathode ray tubes or pre-digital computer gigantic valves. Now, we’re packaging tens of thousands of parts into something lower than a stamp post.
